​H3 was the place where my daughter found her high school home- an emotional safe space, an identity anchor and a place to grow and flourish. H3 Fencing has become a second home for our son, who has been taking fencing lessons with them since 2019. I have watched our son, now 15 years old, transform into a beautiful young man (transformation ongoing🤗) and I have the H3 coaches (and Coleen who runs a smooth operation) to thank, in part. Their tremendous support and compassion have helped our son to develop a confidence that will transcend all areas of his life. We have witnessed his confidence level skyrocketed. To go to tournaments and watch our son in action is amazing. Even more amazing is to watch other fencers from other fencing clubs go up to him and call him by his name or congratulate him on a win, which indicates that they are watching his progress, too, which is a compliment. The depth of knowledge from this specialty-skilled father-son coaching duo is amazing; I cannot thank Coach Conor and Coach Daly enough for all the work and dedication they have invested in bringing our son’s fencing abilities to this level. I feel fortunate to start my son's training in fencing at H3 Fencing, where the coaches are professional and patient, and the staff are caring and helpful. As a novice, my son has been getting solid skill training and attention in both big group and private lessons. The self-confidence he gained in fencing is incomparable with swimming and soccer, which my son has been into for years. I am delighted that my son started a great sport in the right club.

H3 Fencing is an awesome environment for any fencer to train. From a beginner to a college fencer, the coaching team is very patient and gets the students to where they need to be. My son went from an average high school fencer to fencing on the national level and making the all-county team!! All the students at H3 are very competitive, but in a good way. All the kids work hard together and help each other to get to the next level. H3 has a family-like atmosphere and is still able to develop the fencers to the regional and national level! Give H3 a try, you won’t be disappointed!!!

A little over a year ago my 16 year old daughter asked us if she could try fencing. She wanted to try a different sport other than martial arts that she had been taking since she was 5. We thought she would try it and move on. But on that first day we noticed how the parents all seemed to get along. They were talking to one another in the comfortable lounge area. A few of the athletes who were finished lessons were playing chess on the tables. One young girl was doing her homework. The coaches were friendly and honest. Suddenly our novice fencer was hooked on H3 and so was my wife and I. I think this would be considered a smaller fencing school, and because of this the coaches are engaged with their athletes’ progress. The athletes are engaged in their lessons, they genuinely all get along, respect and like one another. I really believe that is not only a reflection on the parents but their coaches. The coaches, athletes and parents are not only a team but an extended family. My daughter is working hard every week. She loves fencing. She loves her coaches and she loves H3. She recently qualified for Jr Olympics and Nationals and received her regional ranking. It’s been a year. It’s no accident she has excelled. We are so grateful we found this incredible gem. We only wish we had found H3 sooner.
