"H3 is a phenomenal place -- unique in fencing. Our son is 16 years old and has fenced epee for over a decade. We started in Plainview, a club that rapidly declined, especially for his weapon. We then moved to a club further into Nassau. We didn't have any complaints other than the distance. Finally, we tried H3, and it has been incredible. H3 is a warm, friendly place with a team-like feel. The kids get along well, and they love their coaches. Our son is excited to go to fencing and leaves exhilarated. In contrast, fencing elsewhere is treated as an individual sport with cold coaches out of the Soviet system. Most clubs have fencers in competition with each other, with weak friendships among members. We are glad we joined. We highly recommend H3."
