At Hills Fencing Institute, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we’re passionate about sharing the art and excitement of fencing with campers of all skill levels. Whether your child is just starting or looking to refine their technique, our summer camp offers a supportive, fun, and enriching experience.

The benefits:
Beginner groups will learn fencing basics through fun games and activities that foster a love for the sport and help campers make new friends.
Intermediate & advanced groups will refine techniques, build tactical skills, and practice timing, distance, and speed with situational drills and coaching.

- No experience necessary to join, all physical abilities are welcome
- Supervised electric bouting every day
- Free, custom-made t-shirt for every camper

Intermediate & advanced groups will refine techniques, build tactical skills, and practice timing, distance, and speed with situational drills and coaching.
What can you expect? Here’s a sample schedule:
- In the morning: warm-ups, stretching, icebreakers, and games to get campers engaged and build teamwork
- Late morning: Footwork and partner drills to build skills
- Midday: Lunch
- Afternoon: Supervised electric bouting to build experience
What to bring?
- Lunch: Bring a labeled bagged lunch or money to buy lunch at Aloha (next door); campers will stay in the club during lunch
- Water bottle: Bring one, or purchase for $2.
- Clothing: Wear a t-shirt, shorts/athletic pants, and indoor athletic sneakers.
- Equipment: All fencing gear is provided if needed.
Pricing:
- Standard Rate: $450 per week (Payment due by June 15, 2025)
- Early Bird Discount: $400 per week (Payment due by April 15, 2025)
- Late Payment Rate: $475 per week (Payments made after June 15, 2025)
- We accept cash, check, credit card (3.5% fee), and Zelle (@[email protected]).
Special Offer:
- Register for 2 weeks and get the second week at 50% off ($200 savings).
Refund Policy:
- More than 30 days before the start date: Full refund minus a 20% administrative fee.
- 14–30 days before the start date: Partial refund of $280.
- Less than 14 days before the start date: No refunds.
Additional Services:
- Early drop-off/Late pick-up: $100 per week.
